Our Eco Warriors have a number of responsibilities.

The Eco Warriors:

 

• ensure everyone in the school turns off the lights and any unused electrical items when everyone leaves the classroom. 

• use our special litter pickers to collect any rubbish left at the end of the morning break to help keep the playgrounds litter free.

• ensure the green bins in the classrooms are only used for paper and card

 

The Eco Warriors also design signs to use around the school to remind others about how to save energy and help save the planet.

​We are also working in partnership with Southend City Council as part of the PlastiCity initiative to minimise the impact of plastics on the environment.
